Membership Requirements
Those eligible for membership shall include the families of members of other Showmen Organizations or those doing business in the amusement industry, or L.A.S.L.A. in good standing, and such other persons as may have been actively in the amusement business for a period of at least three (3) years. Candidates for membership may be sixteen (16) years of age if family is in the amusement business; otherwise must be eighteen (18) years of age; must believe in the existence of a Supreme Being; be of sound mind; of good character. and a responsible citizen.
The Board of Governors may in its discretion waive the eligibility requirements and admit to membership those candidates who shall lend dignity and honor to L.A.S.L.A.
Reciprocity: The Mother Club will accept membership of three (3) years in another recognized amusement business organization as constituting fulfillment of the eligibility requirement that states: the applicant must have been engaged in the amusement business for a period of three (3) years.
DUES: The dues shall be per annum, and shall be paid in advance and are payable the first (1st) of December in each year, in U.S. Funds.
